Abstract: Adverbs to Emphasize the Meaning of Verbs

Adverbs may be used to modify verbs or other adverbs in a variety of
ways. This article focuses on those used not to modify the meaning of other
verbs or adverbs, but rather to add weight to or to emphasize the meaning of
specific verbs or adverbs, of which there are many subtypes worth exploring
in detail.
