In the Early Modern Age, from around the end of the 19 century to the

beginning of the 20 century, Europe was considered to be the centre of the
dynamic change in the world in every aspect. There were crucial cultural
movements in the fields of art, music, theatre, drama and architecture, and
specifically in the field of science and technology, as a result of the Industrial
Revolution and Colonialism, which are the most influential factors shaping
huge changes in the way of the living condition of mankind. The phenomenon
led to disaster in Europe after World War I. and to incidents leading to World War II.

The social, political and cultural phenomena in the context of high colonial era
of the European powers reflected in art, literature, music and architecture were
complementary and interdisciplinarily connected. This period is called the
“Avant-garde of the Modern”.
The aim of this article is to investigate the social, cultural and political
interaction of arts, with architecture, music and literature in their origin, during
the period of the “Avant-garde of the Modern” in the social and political
context of Europe.
