The term “4.0” has thus become the symbol of “state-of-the-art” status,
and has consequently been appended to many areas of society, e.g. Agriculture 4.0,
Commerce 4.0, Entrance Exam 4.0, Industry Project 4.0, Internet 4.0, SME 4.0,
University 4.0, Vet 4.0, etc.

Thai Language 4.0 joins this trend, and the evolution in the teachingof
the language can be similarly described in four stages as has been characterized
in other areas of the society.
