                       If hospital quality issue was of any concern, it was put to rest when Taphan Hin Crown

                   Prince Hospital in Pichit province was the first government hospital certified for the ISO 9002
                   accreditation in 1998. Later on, after the hospital standard and health care services were

                   elevated to a national standard in 1999, Det Udom Crown Prince Hospital in Ubon Ratchathani
                   province was the first community hospital in Thailand certified for the hospital accreditation

                   from the Healthcare Accreditation Institute (Public Organisation) in 2001, followed by 20 other
                   crown prince hospitals. Moreover, in 2015, Thabo Crown Prince Hospital in Nong Khai province

                   was the first community hospital in Thailand to be certified by the accreditation from the Joint
                   Commission International (JCI), the highest standard use in the United States. Subsequently,

                   in 2017, Kranuan Crown Prince Hospital in Khon Kaen province was the second community
                   hospital to be certified by JCI accreditation. (Crown Prince Hospital Foundation, 2017) In addition,

                   each medical laboratory quality system in all 21 crown prince hospitals was certified for ISO
                   15189: 2012 accreditation by department of medical sciences, ministry of public health in 2015.

                   Kanjanabaramee Foundation

                       In 1992 when King Rama X was the Crown Prince, he visited Thanyaburi rehabilitation

                   center for cancer patients under National Institute of Cancer in Pathum Thani province,
                   made aware of the problems and sufferings cancer patients encountered, established a cancer

                   treatment center for patients in Pathum Thani and nearby provinces. He led the fund raising
                   campaign to build a cancer treatment center under the “Kanjanabaramee Project to celebrate

                   the King Rama IX golden jubilee in 1996.” It was accomplished by donations from government
                   sectors, state enterprises, government services, merchants, and people from all walks of life.

                   The center was named “Maha Vajira Longkorn Thanyaburi Center” after the Crown Prince and
                   later became “Maha Vajira Longkorn Thanyaburi Hospital.” The Crown Prince also established

                   the Kanjanabaramee Foundation on 30 December 1997 to help the indigent cancer patients,
                   support the cancer prevention and control programs, offer grants for education and research

                   support, raise funds to support hospitals, and finally to create personnel development for
                   hospitals, the National Institute of Cancer, and Regional Centers for Prevention and Control of

                   Cancer in 6 provinces (Chon Buri, Lop Buri, Ubon Ratchathani, Lampang, Udon Thani, and
                   Suratthani).

                       On the special occasion when King Rama X (the Crown Prince at that time) was 60 years
                   old in 2012, Kanjanabaramee Foundation and the Ministry of Public Health initiated a project

                   “Screening mammogram for women at risks and underpriviledged.” It was intended for those in
