                    Abstract: Anti-Corruption Strategy: Integrity Village

                                   Corruption and misconduct are important and long term problems that
                             affects the development of the country. The country loses various opportunities.

                             The social injustice is caused the efficiency of the government agencies decreased.
                             People distrust the government. The country’s resources are lost and wasteful.
                             There are lack of incentives for private sector investment, lack of political
                             stability and limitations from policy implementation are caused by corruption
                             of government officials. Therefore, the government must solve the problem by
                             considering the problem of corruption as a national agenda in every dimension.
                             All sectors should cooperate to integrate the prevention and suppression of

                             corruption into concrete and to support the work of independent organization
                             for the prevention and suppression of corruption and awakening consciousness
                             of the people to raise awareness of the problem from the family, the community
                             and the nation every level.
                                   Anti-Corruption Foundation of Thailand has been established by the
                             group of executives who successfully completed the Strategic Management
                             Course on Anti-Corruption for High Level Officer at Sanya Thammasak National
                             Anti-Corruption Institute, the Office of National Anti-Corruption Commission of
                             Thailand. The purpose is to support and promote activities in cultivating values,

                             moral and ethics for the people in the country especially the youth. They
                             should be good, honest and loyal to the institutions: nation, religious, and the
                             king. The foundation has started to build the model of “the integrity villages”
                             concretely in every province that compose of “home, temple and school”
                             in every community. It is the first time to develop the anti-corruption strategy
                             for the villages of Thailand.
