Somchai Bovornkitti is a fellow of the Royal Society of Thailand and an Emeritus
Professor of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.
His qualifications are Bachelor of Medicine (1952), Doctor of Medicine (2002),
DTM&H (University of Liverpool), Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis (University
of Wales), MRCP (UK), FRCP, FRACP, and Hon FACP. He was a Paediatric Chest
Resident at Bellevue Hospital, New York University, in 1955-1956. His current
interest is the environment health sciences and tropical diseases.
