                                                                                       Volume XVI-2024 (Special Issue)

plot of land–300 rai (approximately 480,000 square meters) in Pathum Thani province–for the

development of a new zoo. This facility will serve as an education hub for nature, conservation,
research, breeding programs, and wildlife rehabilitation as well as an eco-friendly tourism

                   destination.
All of the aforementioned projects and initiatives are examples of His Majesty

King Rama X’s efforts for the benefit of the public and sustainable development. These initiatives
aim to inspire Thai citizens to follow his example in striving for sustainable development not only

for Thailand but also for the world at large. The Royal Volunteer Initiative fosters collaboration
between the King and the Thai people, helping to achieve all 17 SDGs. This commemoration of

the 72 anniversary of His Majesty King Rama X’s birthday provides an opportunity to showcase
                          nd
how the Royal Institution in Thailand can support public efforts toward sustainable development.
