The International Journal of the Royal Society of Thailand

                  Volume XVI-2024 (Special Issue)

Piyanart Bunnag, Chair of the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences, in her new research on

His Majesty the King. The lecturer looks forward to seeing evidence-based demonstrations of
the brilliance of our Monarch in this research.

Recently, the lecturer has been informed by locals at various sites he visited about
King Rama I the Great’s battles at those locations. It appears that during his 27-year reign,

King Rama I was constantly with his troops, leading them in battle each year. How could anyone
today bear such a monumental responsibility? Meanwhile, the members of the Royal Society of

Thailand have been planning improvements to the organization, with many ambitious projects
that seem challenging to complete. Our great kings were visionary and heroic. Let us not forget

King Intharacha’s visit to Nanjing and his foresight regarding Malacca. Therefore, if you are searching
for a visionary leader or hero, look no further than the kings of Thailand.
