King Prajatibok was able to regain his energy in the two beautiful
countries, just like he had wished. Their Majesties visited numerous sights in
Czechoslovakia and Hungary, including factories, and agricultural, technological
operations, art, crafts, folk music and farms in Hungary which are all strengths
of the “Magyars”. Many companies in both countries requested to be visited by
the Siamese King; many were disappointed. Even regular citizens wrote to the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Prague that the route of the Siamese King had to be
changed due to the bad state of the roads. Some sent gifts to His Majesty via
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
