On their arrival in Berlin, Their Majesties were welcomed by Baron von
Neurath, Reichsminister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Graf von
Bassewitz. The two of them introduced Reichkanzler Adolf Hitler to the Siamese

King. King Prajatibok also met other members of government, among them
Herrmann Göring, Reichsminister of the Luftwaffe, who invited Their Majesties
to dinner. In Germany, the Reichspräsident received the Siamese King in his

mansion in Neudeck, due to the bad state of his health. After the visit to

Germany, they corresponded in friendly letters. King Prajatibok provided the
President with signed pictures of himself and the Queen.
