(3) Awarding of CRF grants. The grants were awarded by the CRF Committee, based
on the proposals submitted by research groups. The grant selection process was based
on a fair selection process, which relied on transparent selection methodology and

standardized scoring sheets. The award selection process was also committed to equal
opportunity for all UHS faculties, and prioritized young researchers, and research
projects that explored practical solutions for pressing health challenges.
