                  About the Authors

                  Sanya Sukpanichnant An Associate Fellow of the Royal Society of Thailand and a
                  Professor at Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol

                  University. He received his training in hematopathology (1990-1993) from the late
                  Professor Dr. Robert D. Collins, who co-established the Lukes-Collins classification for
                  malignant lymphoma in 1974. His publication focuses not only on lymphoma but also
                  other hematologic diseases (55 and 40 articles in international and national journals,

                  respectively).

                  Kesinee Chotivanich An Associate Follow of the Royal Society of Thailand and a
                  Professor of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University. She is the head of laboratory
                  malaria in Mahidol-Oxford University Research Unit. Her interests are malaria
                  pathophysiology  and  pharmacodynamics  of  antimalarial  drugs.  She  provides

                  clinical-related laboratory training and works with malaria research teams on interna-
                  tional multi-center clinical trials, especially for tracking artemisinin resistance.
