                The circle or mandala art activity helps children to search for visual balance

          within the circle, thus developed the feelings of concentration and focus.

                The focus during the art making process provides a peaceful and calm feelings,
          which resulted in proper brain functioning, restoring memory and clear perspectives
          on thoughts and feelings.


                Drawing but painting with the feelings of balance, peace, and clear mind
          reduce stress and anxiety.

                Moreover, the children feel relax, patience, perseverance and constancy

          from the coloring and balancing practices. They have realized this type of art
          making to be constructive, intimate, and joyful. Skills such as mindfulness and
          critical thinking are developed easily along with happiness.




          Conclusions

                The art works created with circle/mandala pattern deliberate in this article
          demonstrate the art activity relating to the mandala art concepts that transformed
          through cultures and time, relevant to the 21  century art education curriculum’s

          philosophy and aims, regarding intrinsic and concrete outcomes. As mentioned
          above, students’ personal development through cognitive thinking, self and social
          awareness are mandatory part of our education. The world needs art education to

          develop persons with confidence and integrity. The individual and universal
          concepts of circle shape and mandala pattern, and the creative process have made
          them calm and mindful. The resulted art works thus are genuinely represented

          their souls, as such the creative process are equally important as the art product.

                Today, art activities not only focused on the aesthetic and knowledge outcomes,
          but are focusing on developing the creators’ self-awareness and social-awareness
          genuinely, in order to promote self-esteem and inner growth. Through the creative

          process of the circles making, the creators will likewise enhanced their mindfulness
          and emotional stabilities, imbued with souls’ management skill which would develop
          competent and whole persons in the long run.
