Authorship profiles of Index Researchers
Both Index Researchers, IR_01 and IR_02, are relatively early in their academic
careers, with time-since-first-publication durations of 3.1 and 5.4 years, respectively
(Figures 1A & 2A). Over the past five years, both IR_01 and IR_02 have published a
cumulative total of over 100 articles each, with a maximum of 90 articles for IR_01 and
65 for IR_02 in a single year. The number of articles published by both researchers in
2021 underwent a substantial increase compared to the previous year. Furthermore,
the diversity index of their research domains was relatively high, exceeding 3.0.
Additionally, a notable proportion of their articles consisted of either review articles,
systematic review articles, or meta-analyses (Figures 1A & 2A).
In the three years since their first publication, Index Researcher IR_01 has
collaborated with 480 co-authors, resulting in a total of 29 communities (research
groups) as classified using the greedy optimization of modularity algorithm
(Figure 1B). Meanwhile, Index Researcher IR_02 has a total of 20 communities,
consisting of 426 co-authors (Figure 2B). Besides, both co-author networks exhibit low
clustering coefficients.
While both researchers are affiliated with Thai organizations, the majority of
their co-authors, at 85.6% for IR_01 and 90.9% for IR_02, are affiliated with foreign
organizations (Figures 1C & 2C). Most co-authors for both Index Researchers have
affiliations in Western Asia (IR_01: 21.7%; IR_02: 20.9%), Southern Asia (IR_01: 26.8%;
IR_02: 19.7%), and non-Thailand Southeastern Asia (IR_01: 11.7%; IR_02: 20.9%). Mean-
while, the proportions of co-authors from Eastern Europe were 9.2% and 8.7% for IR_01
and IR_02, respectively.
