             Volume XV-2023


             Editor’s Note


                    The International Journal of the Royal Society of Thailand is a forum for different

             voices on the past and future of global knowledge across all academic and semi-
             academic disciplines. This XV volume, 2023 contains original articles contributed by
             experts working in Thailand and/or international. They represent renowned institutions

             and include the Royal Society of Thailand, Mahidol University, MORU Oxford
             University,  Kasetsart  University,  Thammasat  University,  University  of  Health

             Sciences Lao PDR and Asian Development Bank. The published topics cover a wide
             range of knowledge from past, present and future academic activities. One interest
             issue is the trading of published works, which is a matter of concern in the intellectual

             community.

                    I sincerely thank you Professor Suraphon Issaragrisil and Professor Suraphon
             Wirutharat for their support and encouragement. I would like to thank the fellows and
             associated fellows of the Royal Society of Thailand who participated in the poll for

             words related to the society as depicted on the front cover of this volume. I hope
             that the knowledge and ideas contained in this volume will inspire further research

             interest. The continuing development of science, education, and art will support
             improvements in health and good governance in Thailand and beyond.
