technology-assisted learning should remain in classrooms as part of autonomous
learning as Chapelle (2001) pointed out that it can provide students with additional
opportunities to practice their language skills and can help them learn at their own
pace.
One major benefit of using digital technologies in EFL classrooms is that it can
motivate and engage students of this generation. Teachers can facilitate the more
effective teaching delivery through a wide range of technological tools (A, 2019).
In a classroom, there are various game-based learning platforms and online quiz
makers that teachers can use to make English learning more engaging and interactive
for students. Some popular options in Thailand are Kahoot, Quizlet, Blooket, Quizzes,
and Vonder Go!. These platforms allow EFL teachers to create interactive quizzes,
flashcards, and games that students can participate in to test their knowledge and
understanding of a lesson. They also allow for real-time feedback, tracking of student
progress, and the ability to share resources with other teachers. Additionally, these
platforms are extremely versatile as they can be used in both online and in-person
learning environments.

However, the specific tools and approaches used would depend on the students’

learning. For example, many games and online quiz platforms require using
