Another military coup of the government followed on 20 June 1933,
initiated by the four leaders of Khana Ratsadon with the military support from
Major Luang Pibunsongkhram (พััน้โท หัลวงพัิบููลสุงคราม). Prime Minister Praya
Manopakorn Nititada was dismissed and Phraya Phahonphonphayuhasena
(พัระยาพัหัลพัลพัยุหัเสุน้า) was appointed as the new Prime Minister. The military

coup was the beginning of the political career of Major Luang Pibunsongkhram
in Siamese politics until the reign of King Bhumibol.
