for recreation as well as a knowledge center for learning about Rama IX’s various royal projects
and endeavors to safeguard the forest and water resources among other important concerns.
The park comprises a monument and statue of the former king, abundant trees and vegetation
with ponds and lake to attract the public so as to make it a lively place which, in an analogy,
is like being blessed with refreshing generosity passed down from King Rama IX to Rama X and
subsequently, the people.
As can be seen clearly from the examples mentioned, architectural works in connection
with the monarchy under King Rama X are mainly those that involve redeveloping and
upgrading existing places of importance so that their functions may serve the people with more
effectiveness while the structures have been strengthened through proper procedures for
restorative intervention of ancient monuments and historic sites by using both traditional as
well as modern methods and technology that are appropriate for contemporary conditions and
functional requirements.
