          Dvaravati             -  Khu Bua was established to the south of Ratchaburi
          (6-11 Century)          Province.

          Lopburi               -  Ratchaburi Province was established.
          (12-16 Century)


          Ayutthaya             - Old Kanchanaburi Province was established in Ban Tha Sao.
          (1350 – 1767)           Establishment of Muang Tha Muang, Ban Nong Khao, Bang
                                  Chang (Amphawa), Mae Klong, Ban Chet Samian, Ban Yisan,

                                  communities on Om Canal, Mae Klong Canal
                                -  The fall of Ayutthaya in 1767



          Thonburi              - King Taksin defeated the Burmese army at Bang Kung

          (1767 - 1782)           Camp and established Thonburi as the capital city.

          Rattanakosin

          King Rama I           -  King Rama I founded Bangkok as the capital city.

          (1782 - 1809)

          King Rama II          -  More Chinese people settled down on the mouth of
          (1809 - 1824)           the Mae Klong River
                                -  King Rama II was born in Amphawa.

          King Rama III         -  Old Kanchanaburi was moved to Ban Pak Phraek.

          (1824 - 1851)         -  Fortresses, city gates and city wall were rebuilt in Kan-
                                  chanaburi.

                                -  The Mon settled down in Ban Pong - Jet Samian.
                                -  The Laotian settled down in Ratchaburi.
                                -  Sunak Hon Canal was dredged.
                                -  Christianity (Roman Catholic Church) was introduced

                                  in many communities.
