All preschool children’s behaviors were improved in better ways after completion with the 16 block-shaped toys activities.They became freer in expression, verbally improved, confidence, emotionally stable, more imaginative and responsive with new ideas. In addition, they became more independent, develop own observations and conceptualized things easier, which proved that their cognitive thinking had been developed. Discussion and Conclusions At first the childrenwere given opportunity to play and learn by themselves in all 16 sessions of toys playing activities.They used their cognition via the process of playing with shapes, sizes and colors, in which they learnt cognitively and visually through the acts of classification, grouping, and sequencing, establishing the intellectual relationship with the geometrical shapes and forms. The authors believed that the block-shaped toys were developed in association with the visual elements in art have the capacity to enhance the children’s cognitive thinking, emotion, and learning the basic visual elements in art such as colors and shapes (Suchart Thaothong, 1993), as well as the picture cards in order of difficulty levels, are easy steps to follow in the playing activities. The playing process was suitable to the children normal development and behaviors. The children would enjoy, feel like to get involve and participate, with much eagerness to precede the activities by themselves. The block-shaped toys have introduced the visual elements in art; six colors were used in the designated toys comprising three primary colors of blue, yellow and red, and three secondary colors of green, orange, and purple. In the activities, they learnt the colors wheel order, and so the colors’ relationships, plus shapes and sizes. According to the child development experts, the manipulation with colors and shapes of the design activities provided good opportunities to the children to learn to assembly, sequencing them, and maintain things in order, which are suitable for enhancing the preschool children’s learning and cognitive thinking.
