282 Proceedings of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress 3. 16 session plans on playing activities to use with block-shaped toys for enhancing cognitive thinking of the preschool students aged 4-5 years. All tools were developed and given to four-five experts for evaluations, in which the tools were amendment according to their suggestions. Data Collection 1. Pretest the samples with the cognitive thinking assessment before the experimentation. 2. Block-shaped toys were used on the samples for 16 sessions in four weeks. Each session is for 30 minutes. 3. Posttest the samples with the same cognitive thinking assessment one week after the four weeks experimentation period. 4. Used SPSS program to analyze the statistic results. Data Analysis 1. The quantity data of cognitive test results were analyzed into Mean value and Standard deviation value. 2. The quantity data of cognitive test quality and content validity, difficulty, and discrimination results were analyzed by KR-20 formula. 3. Compare the different value of mean value of cognitive pretest-posttest results by t-test dependent sample. Results The results after the block-shaped toys activities intervention on the samples are as follows; 1. The statistic result via pretest-posttest results of cognitive thinking assessment on the children aged 4 - 5 years before and after the activities intervention shown at .05 that the cognitive thinking has increased significantly as coincided with the research hypothesis. Thus, the result revealed that the children’s cognitive thinking in the areas of classification, grouping, and sequencing were higher in all avenues, especially in the area of classification the mean value was resulted at 10.0. 2. The three cognitive thinking areas of the samples achieved after completed the 16 block- shaped toys activities have their pretest-posttest results that showed; 2.1 The classification achievement was at mean average of 10.0, higher than the pretest of 7.3, that is the highest of all three areas. 2.2 The ordering achievement was at mean average of 9.3, higher than the pretest of 6.7 2.3 The sequencing achievement was at mean average of 8.9, higher than the pretest of 5.3, that is the highest of all three areas.
