The Journal of the Royal Institute of Thailand Vol. 27 No. 3 Jul.-Sept. 2002 °“√∫√‘ À“√√“™°“√·ºà 𥑠π ˆÚˆ Abstract The Administration of State Affairs Wissanu Krea-ngam Associate Member, the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences, the Royal Institute, Thailand The King appoints the Prime Minister and not more than 35 other Ministers to constitute the Council of Ministers having the duties of carrying out the administration of State Affairs. Ministers shall carry out the administration of State affairs in accordance with the provisions of the Constitu- tion, laws and policies stated to the National Assembly, and shall be responsible individually to the House of Representatives for the performance of their duties and shall also be responsible collec- tively to the National Assembly for the general policies of the council of Ministers. The administration of the State Affairs includes the formation of domestic and foreign poli- cies, the implementation of such policies and the law enforcement. The Government’s administra- tion will be subject to control by the House of Representatives and the Senate and the several other independent constitutional agencies.
