Hence, in this article, it is studied in detail. The study finds out that the poem employs complex , subtle and elaborate prosodical arts which obviously reveal the genius of the poet. In the poem, words with their tones and tone marks, the characteristic of the Thai language, are orderly arranged in various sets and their arrangements also make sense in the content; the sets of words are appropriately fixed according to the prosodical conditions; rhymes of vowels and consonants, the conventional aesthetics of the Thai literature, are richly used. However, the various kinds of prosodical arts overwhelming in the poem lead to the hypothesis that, besides displaying his talent, the poet might have hoped to see his work also useful for education in some way. Considering to the content of Chindamani, the first Thai text book written in the same period, Khlong Akson Sammu has certainly been destined to be a supplementary book to it. Nevertheless, there is no evidence about that use. Key words : Khlong Akson Sammu, prosody
