The cracking process was performed at a reaction temperature of 350-400 O C, reaction time 60-180 min, initial hydrogen pressure 1-5 bars and containing 0.1-1% w of HZSM-5, 1-5% wt of Fe/activated carbon and Co-Mo/Al 2 O 3 . A two- level factorial experimental design was done to produce the best product and components. The optimum conditions for cracking used PS on HZSM-5 were 370 O C, 90 min, 1 bar and 0.1% w catalyst content. The oil yield was 88.3% wt and consisted of gasoline, kerosene, light gas oil, gas oil and long residue, with 28, 3, 40, 3 and 26% contents, respectively. The optimum conditions of cracking used PS on Fe/activated carbon were 370 O C, 120 min, 1 bar and 5% w catalyst content . The oil yield was 88.7% w and consisted of gasoline, kerosene, light gas oil, gas oil and long residue , with 24, 1, 45, 2 and 28% contents, respectively. The optimum conditions of cracking used PS on Co-Mo/Al 2 O 3 were 370 O C, 90 min, 1 bar and 5%w catalyst content . The oil yield was 91.2% w and composed of gasoline, light gas oil, gas oil and long residue, with 33, 40, 1 and 26% contents, respectively. Key words : catalytic, cracking, polystyrene, HZSM-5, Co-Mo/Al 2 O 3
