The genera mention are Castanopsis, Lithocarpus, Quercus and Trigonobalanus. These are included with 3 new species as Castanopsis pseudo-hystrix Phengklai, Castanopsis thaiensis Phengklai, Lithocarpus lalatefolius Phengklai and a variety of Quercus mespilifolius Wall. ex Dc. var. pubescens Barnett ex Smitinand & Phengklai. Also with 35 species are new record to Thailand, 9 species are endemic and 12 species are vulnerable in Thailand.
