Abstract The Renowned Poet during Ayudhaya Period Prince Thammathibet (Chao-Fah-Goong) Sidtha Pinitpouvadol Associate Fellow of the Academy of Arts, The Royal Institute, Thailand Prince Thammathibet, publicly known among the commoners as ç Chao-Fah-Goong é , was the eldest son of King Borommakot and Queen Phra Phan Vassa Yai. He is one of the acclaimed poet of Thailand during the ending of Ayudhaya period. He wrote a number of the poetry at the time. The ones that are essentially important and still remains till nowadays are the followings: 4 chapters of Hae Ruea, 3 parts of Hae Khakhi (Kaki), Hae Sangvas and Hae Kruan for one chapter of each, Kapaya Ho Klong, Nirat Tharnsok, Nirat Tharn Thongdaeng, Lilit Nunthopanunthasutra Kham Luang and Lilit Phra Malai Kham Luang. The acclaimed poems of Prince Thammathibet are exemplary for his descendants on making such Kapaya Hae Ruea until present days. All the mentioned Kapaya of the noted Prince wholeheartedly captivated the audiences more than any other poets in the later days. The Poems known as Nunthopanunthasutra Kham Luang and Phra Malai Kham Luang are the teaching principles of the Buddhism in which they could intriguingly persuade the readers. And thus capable of making the Buddhism principles venerable while granting the literary appreciation. The prince’s poetry are the heritage Thai literatures which possess unmatched and exceptional value. At present, the prince’s literature works are translated into a number of languages: English, French, Italian and many more.
