The mobile phone was first introduced to the world market in 1973 by Motorola Company Ltd. It was an analog device with a weight of 1.1 kilograms. Subsequently, the mobile phone was developed and changed to the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), resulting in a small size and more applications such as sending message, video and music. In 2009, more than 1.4 million people carried mobile phones and 4.3 million people in the world used mobile phones. In Thailand, more than 38.2 million people used mobile phones and more than 77.3 % of the Bang- kokions used them, and 41.2 % used them for sending messages.
