Therefore, there are so many words concerning food that can be divided as follows. 1) Words dealing with food. The most general term in this category is ‘food’. 2) Words dealing with eating. The most general term in this category is ‘to eat’. 3) Words dealing with places where food is cooked or prepared. The most general term in this category is ‘kitchen’. 4) Words dealing with places where food is served such as ‘dining room’ and ‘restaurant’. 5) Words dealing with places selling food such as ‘market’ and ‘delicatessen’.6)Wordsdealingwithmealssuchas‘breakfast’,‘lunch’,and‘dinner’.7)Words dealing with utensils used in eating such as ‘forks’, ‘knives’, ‘spoons’, etc. Knowing these words makes it convenient for one to find food and comfortable when attending social functions.
