To create a piece of work from one’s emotion, the artists are not restricted in any form. They are free to mold their work as they feel. However, to create any works from knowledge and reasoning, the artists must contemplate their ideas, concept, media and means. This later kind of creation is usually referred to as The -Isms, i.e. Impressionism, Realism, Cubism, etc. Nonetheless regardless of which method one chooses to employ, a piece of art starts with imagination--an abstract form of an idea. From there, an artist will use their skill to transform their abstracts into something concrete. which is conception. Here is where he will broadly outline the look and the medium to carry out his idea. This out line is just a rough draft of his work which can shift and change and even result in a completely different outcome as the artist starts working, is where individuality of each artist will shine. Each artist can only create his or her who he really is in the end. Keywords : ism, imagination, image, ereation
