61 มงคล เดชนคริ นทร์ วารสารราชบัณฑิตยสถาน ปีที่ ๓๘ ฉบับที่ ๓ ก.ค.-ก.ย. ๒๕๕๖ Abstract A Microcontroller Board for Learning Mongkol Dejnakarintra Fellow of the Academy of Science, The Royal Institute, Thailand This article presents a microcontroller board the author built using the Intel 8088 microprocessor and other components, namely, the clock generator, memory system, programmable interrupt controller, timer/counter, serial communication port, and parallel I/O port. The purpose is to introduce a learning aid for those who are in- terested in studying microcontroller and microcomputer basics. The article describes details of various components used in the circuit board and gives direction for testing the functioning of the components.
