129 เลิ ศศิ ริ ร์ บวรกิ ตติ วารสารราชบัณฑิตยสภา ปีที่ ๔๐ ฉบับที่ ๒ เม.ย.-มิ.ย. ๒๕๕๘ วิพากษ์ว่าเป็นเรื่องงมงายเป็นเรื่องแม่มดหมอผี หรือเรื่องทรงเจ้าทรงผีเลยทีเดียว แต่ในประเทศตะวันตก นั้นบัญญัติศัพท์ Psychic Art นี้ในบริบทที่เป็นศิลปะประเภทหนึ่งเชื่อมโยงการสื่อกับวิญญาณหรือ พลังจิตลี้ลับได้โดยจิตรกรท� ำหน้าที่เป็นร่างทรง เมื่อได้รับมอบหมาย ก็ไปค้นคว้าท� ำให้เข้าใจเนื้อหาได้ระดับหนึ่ง ที่ส� ำคัญที่สุดได้พบว่า psychic art เป็นค� ำศัพท์หลักทางวิจิตรศิลป์ และไม่เกี่ยวกับจิตเวช และมีไวพจน์หลายค� ำ เช่น spirit art, psychic aura art (ศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์อรรถสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ ได้กรุณาให้ความเห็นว่าค� ำ psychic ในบริบท นี้ไม่น่าจะเกี่ยวข้องกับหลักทางจิตวิทยาและจิตเวช) แต่ก่อนที่จะเสนอศัพท์บัญญัติภาษาไทยและนิยามศัพท์ตามที่ศึกษาไว้ ต้องขออนุญาตน� ำเสนอ ข้อความภาษาอังกฤษที่ได้ตัดตอนส่วนที่มีนัยส� ำคัญและเข้าใจง่าย น� ำมาเสนอให้นักวิชาการที่มีโอกาส อ่านบทความนี้ ช่วยพิจารณากัน และอาจเสนอข้อคิดเห็นในวารสารวิชาการต่อไป “Psychic art is one of the unusual psychic skills and psychic artists are media attuned to the spirit world who will use their artistic and medium skills to draw spirit portraits. Through such guides I can draw individual pictures via postal address.” แหล่งที่มา : http:// freespace.virgin.met/russel.steward/psyart.htm จากจุดนั้น ผู้เขียนได้เสนอศัพท์บัญญัติของ psychic art ว่า “ศิลปะจิตวิสัย” หรือ “ศิลปะร่างทรง” โดยถือ art เป็นค� ำหลักท� ำนองเดียวกับศัพท์ “ศิลปะการต่อสู้” จาก martial art; “ศิลปะการแสดง” จาก performing arts โดยอ้างพจนานุกรมฉบับราชบัณฑิตยสถาน พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๔ หน้า ๓๒๔ ว่าค� ำ “จิตวิสัย” เป็นค� ำวิเศษณ์ หมายถึง “ที่จิตคิดขึ้นเองโดยไม่อาศัยวัตถุภายนอก” ตรงข้าม
