Reflective teaching should be done systematically by using various techniques, methods and instruments to collect and analyze data from the classroom and by examining teaching and learning behaviors, reasoning, moral and ethics, attitudes, beliefs, assumptions and social context. This process will help a teacher gain a deeper understanding of his own teaching, his students and his own self which will result in the improvement of his teaching and will contribute to his professional development. Keywords: reflective teaching, reflective thinking, reflection, critical reflection, professional development
