Additionally, She is a philosopher of History and Archeology. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has untiringly undertaken educational management using Her superior wisdom for the sustainable benefit of Thai and foreign children and youths. She advocates for conservation and promotes Thai herbal products, an invaluable property of the nation, to achieve national self–reliance in the pharmaceutical sector. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn is highly respected as “The IT Princess”, who is well versed in modern information technologies. In 2002, Her Royal Highness PrincessMaha Chakri Sirindhorn was honored as the Distinguished National Researcher of the year in interdisciplinary study in recognition of Her continuous research work in various fields for the benefit of all mankind in all societies from local to international communities. As an academician and distinguished researcher, Her Royal Highness PrincessMaha Chakri Sirindhorn is a genuine prudent developer. She has given priority to the integration of various fields of disciplines as means to develop the nation and has kindly granted the Royal Patronage to the Office of the Royal Society’s Interdisciplinary Network. On the auspicious occasion of the 5 th Cycle Birthday Anniversary of Her Royal Highness PrincessMaha Chakri Sirindhorn, the Interdisciplinary Committee for Research andDevelopment of theOffice of theRoyal Society and the Interdisciplinary Foundation for Research andDevelopment unanimously agreed to humbly request for Royal permission to confer upon Her Royal Highness Maha Chakri Sirindhorn “The First Gem of Interdisciplinary Scholar” medal to celebrate and commemorate this auspicious occasion and to publicize Her extensive interdisciplinary talents for the dignity of the Kingdom of Thailand.
