349 Proceedings of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress were selected using the Happiness Index Assessment and included those yielding the scores below 25 percent and having consents to join the program. Tools 1. Happiness Index Assessment (12 questions) 2. Observation sheet (6 questions) 3. Interview form (6 questions) 4. Art activities developed for enhancing the children’s happiness (6 activities) Data Collection 1. Pretest the six sample groups’ happiness levels using the Happiness Index Assessment before the experimentation. 2. Conducted six sessions of art activities with children in three weeks time. Each session last 60 minutes. Observed the samples behaviors during the art-making process. 3. Posttest the sampleswith the sameHappiness IndexAssessment after the art intervention. 4. Used SPSS program to analyze the statistic results. Results The results after the art activities intervention on the sample groups are as follows; 1. The mean average value and standard deviation value resulted of the Happiness Index Assessment measured after the art activities intervention. The grade-I students were happy after art activities intervention has the mean average value at 1.66, and has standard deviation value at 0.18 that is highest level. 2. The statistic value of the grade-I students’ happiness level after the art activities intervention was significant at .05, which showed that before the art activities intervention their happiness level was at moderate level, then after the art activities intervention their happiness level was at highest level, which proved that they were much happier after doing art-making. Discussion and Conclusions 1. The grade-I students found their happiness level was high after participated in the art activities, as well as the results disclosed high level in all 12 questions. 2. The statistic mean values in comparison results of the grade-I students sample groups’ happiness levels before and after the art activities intervention were found that; 2.1 Before the sample groups’ participation in the art activities, their overall happiness value was at moderate level; questions that resulted moderate in happiness were 5. I feel that the activities are interesting and pleasurable 7. I feel pleasant when using colors, activities’ materials and equipments, and 9. I make art because I feel like, while other questions have the results of highest happiness level.
