345 Proceedings of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress Linkages in local and international entities will surely pave the way to improvements. What are considered to be the non-evident variables were seen in the family or home factors. Since most of these children are in trouble, some aspects of their family background such as family values, religion, culture and traditions observed in the homes are vague data. There were few who have mental and drug abuse cases due perhaps to malnourishment and lack of formal education. Other factors not evident were attributed to the community and social relationship of the client or child prior to admission to the Art therapy program. Gauging from the evidences cited from the different Art therapy programs, the author had discovered certain directions in various approaches but in the end, they all are geared towards the development of art in every individual with emphasis on creativity andmaximizing their potentials. The aspect of creativity may not be seen in the most sophisticated outcome, but the evidence of art exploration among the gifted and non-gifted, the disabled and non-disabled, the victim and non- victim may give satisfaction to the teachers, the parents, the community and other stakeholders. As a result thereof, they had utilized the creative output of these children into livelihood andmore income generating activities that may in time sustain their living and economic condition. The study has presented the current situation of children in the Philippines through various concerns such as the need for proper assessment, education, administration, budgetary allocation, involvement of parents and participation in projects that will uphold Art therapy as a vehicle towards enhancement and sustainability of the environment and the community.
