Music can be not only perceived by hearing but also used to promote and stimulate vision and touch. 6. Develop emotional quotient – music can apparently promote emotional expression and can be expressed in various ways. 7. Develop personality by helping children have positive attitudes towards themselves and others and stimulating identification 8. Develop self-confidence and self-esteem 9. Music as music therapy 10. Music as aesthetic to reach relaxation and fulfill wasteful time. Children with special needs usually have more free time than normal children due to many disabilities and social opportunity. 11. The most important thing for special study is learning promotion in enjoyable ambience and activities which is consistent with optimizing learning. Music helps children with sensation intelligence disabilities and promotes emotional development. Children with regressive behaviors may be more expressive and dare to interact with others more. In case of aggressive children, aggression may be reduced because music has direct effect on children’s emotion. Other objectives of music therapy are to create familiarity and promote social interaction their social skills are improved and can socialize with other children. The important objectives of music therapy are as follows: 1. Promote personal changes 2. Stimulate growth and development 3. Promote self-awareness 4. Promote social interaction 5. Prepare children for social survival However, with narrower objectives, music therapy can be used more appropriately. Thus, the objectives can be specified as follows: 1.
