308 Proceedings of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress Figure 16 “A Story of Lightning Bugs” Play, a corporation of the blind and the sighted (Blind Theatre) The Faculty of FineArts, PerformingArts Program, created the 6Dplay “AStory of Lightning Bugs” in order to let audience experience the blind theatre. The play was specially designed for the blind as we believe that the blind, indeed, have more potentials than career they are offered in the society. Accordingly, our students and the blind cooperatively created the sensational play. The blind had an opportunity to show their ability in both acting and directing. Meanwhile, the sighted audience had a chance to feel how the blind feel because they had to close their eyes and let the other senses feel the play. Conclusion All above examples of the faculty’s projects had been organizedwith an intention to provide opportunities for students in applying their knowledge to real situations outside class.The integration of various fields of arts such as music, visual arts, acting and dancing through those projects could enhance children’s imagination, creativity as well as mental states. Currently, the Faculty of Fine Arts, Srinakharinwirot University provides courses and voluntary activities regardingArtTherapy,MusicTherapy andDanceMovementTherapy.Therefore, the faculty aims to open specific programs for the Art Therapy and Music Therapy in 2020.
