306 Proceedings of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress On 20 September 2013, the faculty held the Concentration Building for Kids with LD (Learning Disabilities) project at Pratoochai School, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. The main activity was visual arts that children had been taught drawing and painting. Each child’s artwork was meaningful since it could reflect one’s own emotional state they were, for instance, how happy, bored or scared. Then, we could understand them, sit and talk with them in order to help them feel more relaxed. The Faculty of Fine Arts, Dance Program, realizes a significance of being a part of social responsibility, especially with children and youth who will be the future of the nation. Accordingly, the project had been held in order to apply the dance movement therapy, including bothThai dance andWestern dance, to treat and revive their mental health. On that day, they had been taught Thai and Western dances by undergraduate students from Dance Program in the morning session. Later, the children had an opportunity to give a stage performance with a full make-up and outfits such as Thai dance and cover dance. From doing this, the children would feel more relaxed, less anxious and have a better self-control.
