CONCLUSION Even though landmine problems are serious and harmful to mankind and animals alike, there have been no long term funding in the research and education programmes. In the year of 2015, in ASEAN there will be free flow of people from country to country, so landmine problems should be solved as soon as possible. Tourismand land utilizationwill be increasing tremendously, when the land in free of landmines. Research funding and graduate diploma programme in mine actions are equally essential. The ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center in Cambodia comes right on time in the year of 2015. The Thai nation celebrates Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s 60 th Birthday in the same year. The Royal Thai Government should, therefore, consider the proposal in this paper thoroughly, especially the establishment ofThailand’s roles in the International Mine Actions with ARMAC and the other regions of the world.
