HMAU3 has conducted EOD by removing some of landmines to safety storage. The rest will be undergone EOD once mutual plan between TDA and HMAU3 has set. Of landmine found, 80% of them are still function. Therefore, field personnel of project must take utmost careful. Two workshops on the best practice of landmine clearance were successfully conducted. Lessons learned and best practices are summarized into report which is disseminated to ASEAN countries with similar landmine problems. TDA will continue to operate the MRCT Project with most carefulness strictly abide by SOP. Cost-effective use of budget will be maintained as always done over the past operational period. Best practices and lessons learned will be summarized for ASEAN countries.
