229 Proceedings of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress Field progression of the MRCT Project; be it technical sampling area, completion area, and landmine/UXO found are input/updated into table weekly by FM. Every Monday, FM e-mails the table to TDA’s head office for monitoring and instant supervision. In the beginning of field operation, field teambegan LR process in sector 1/1 which had high landmine contamination degree.They found 3 standard landmine defensive lines with about 300meter-length in sector 1/1. As shown in table below, in the beginning operation of 13 July to 26 July 2014, they conducted LR in sector 1/1 and found 45 landmines. Since they just began working in dangerous, they were rather scared and unconfident. FM therefore moved field team to work in sector 4 from 27 July to 2 August 2014 which is low contamination sector to return their morale back and to boost their confidence before coming back to work in sector 1/1. The alternations of field team between high contamination sector and low contamination sector were made through the MRCT project operation to manage deminers’ morale and confidence, please see different highlight color Table 6.3, as shown below. B. Progression Summary of LR Process of MRCT Project So far, TDA can make safe area of 2,241,446 sq.m. out of total dangerous area of 2,424,018 sq.m., please refer to Table below. TDA completed LR process in sector 1/1, 1/2, 3, 4, and sector 5. As for sector 2, TDA field team can make 72% completion. So far, TDA field team can find 2,267 landmines/UXOs, as shown in table below. Of them, about 560 units have already been disposed. Conclusion As of 27 May 2015, TDA has executed the MRCT Project smoothly with excellent collaboration provided by TMAC and its field unit-HMAU3, and excellent guidance given by the Department of International Organization, Thai MFA. No accident to all project personnel were recorded in this period. And TDA shall maintain this record by strictly abide by SOP and safety rule and regulation. The MRCT Project by TDA cleared landmine using LR process and could return safe area of 2,241,446 sq.m. out of given area 2,424,018 sq.m. Field personnel led by FM found 2,267
