223 Proceedings of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress Medical First Aid Kit for first aid purpose and patient evacuation: TDA purchased Advance Emergency Kit Bag which includes important tools for first aid such as Aluminum Oxygen Tank, AMBO Bag for mount breathing, Hand suction, cover sets for mount to mount breathing in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) process. Radio Communication: TDA purchased 11 sets of MS Marshal Radio using allocated budget in MRCT project. Hard negotiation was made to supplier until TDA can have radio for all field staffs. It is vitally important for deminers to communicate with FM/AFM by radio during landmine clearance in jungle since there is no mobile phone signal in border area. Camera: TDA purchased 2 sets of Camera. First one is FUJIFILM which can zoom in object 200 meters far away from the photo taker so can provide safety for him from landmine accident; if any. Resolution of photo taken by this camera is about 12 million pixels. Another one is NOKIA Camera and Mobile Phone which is very convenient for field staffs because they can send photos via SMS or Line after taking photos. TDA also has 2 spare cameras from the financial support of GFS which are Canon and Panasonic. Personnel Equipment forDeminer (Grass cutting, Prodding gears, Ground Excavation, searching for landmine): TDA purchased 10 sets of these tools. However, some of them must be made to order such as prodding steel to poke for landmine. Computer and printer: these office equipment are to rent according to the MRCT project proposal approved by JAIF. Our logistic team led byMr. Sittisak Jantapa searched andmet with many suppliers for rental basis. However, all suppliers did not rent out notebook computer, desktop computer andprinter in reasonable price, but very high (higher thanbudget) comparedwith purchasing basis because these goods have a very short life expectancy especially heavy utilization in remote landmine clearance field. Therefore logistic team waived rental for procurement basis. They purchased enough equipment with in the allocated budget; as follows: ASUS Notebook computer; 1 set LENOVO Notebook computer; 1 set Made to order desktop computer; 1 set Secondhand desktop computer; 1set BROTHER printer; 3 sets Uniform: within the allocated budget, TDA purchased good and appropriate uniform for staffs especially field staffs in enough number. Car Rental: TDA rent in 3 cars in monthly basis, and one car in temporary basis Other necessary equipment: TDA purchased some more other equipment necessary for project operation under allocated equipment budget. They are as follows: Compass; it is necessary for non-technical survey of minefield and so was purchased for 2 sets. Handset of grass cutter: ground preparation and grass cutting are very important in landmine searching and excavation process. Grass cutting in particular can speed up landmine clearance and therefore TDA purchased 3 sets of HONDA Handset grass cutter.
