183 Proceedings of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress THE EFFECT OF HORMONE IMBALANCE AND LIFESTYLE ARE RELATATED TO THE CAUSE OF CHRONIC DISEASES IN THAI PEOPLE Mali Wirojskoolchai Saranyoo Ponnikorn Health and Longevity Center and Praram 2 Hospital Bangkok, Thailand Abstract: Objective of Study : The objective of this study was to study the incidence of risk factors and hormone imbalance that influence to the development of chronic diseases inThai people, Praram 2 General Hospital, Health and Longevity Center, Bangkok, Thailand. Method : Medical records of all Thai patients undergoing in 3 types of chronic diseases including Hypertension, DM and Dyslipidemia at Praram 2 General Hospital from 2008 to 2012 were analyzed. Patients Demographic Data : Study-group 150,040 visits per year. Outpatient 138,957 visits per year (92.62%). Inpatient 11,083 visits per year (7.38%). In this study the researcher paid attention in 3 diseases; hypertension patient 19,414 visits per year (12.94%). Outpatient 18,460 visits per year (95.09%). Inpatient 955 visits per year (4.91%). DM patient 12,266 visits per year (8.18%). Outpatient 11,397 visits per year (92.92%). Inpatient 869 visits per year (7.08%). Dyslipidemia patient 5,330 visits per year (3.55%). Outpatient 5,168 visits per year (96.95%). Inpatient 162 visits per year (3.05%). A total of 84 patients, 42 males (50%) 42 females (50%), average age of 50-69 years old were eligible in this study by Anti-Aging Medicine which is a kind of Advance Medical Therapy. Collecting data of the basic lifestyle change before and after Anti-Aging therapy including smoking, exercise, dining time after 6 p.m., bowel habit, sleep and stress compare between male and female. The hormones and other measurements were conducted including IGF-1, adrenal hormones, sex hormones, insulin resistance, Homocystein , B12 , Folic and lipid profiles and bone markers. Importantly, we develop the new strategy for measuring the thickness of blood vessel wall called Common Carotid Artery Intima - Media Thickness (CIMT) as the clinical marker. Conclusion : The results show the relation of hormone imbalance with the development in such chronic diseases. Since we followed up all cases after continued treatment with hormones, most patients get better approximately to 100%. Interestingly, this treatment could decrease the thickness of blood vessel for 3-6 months by using CIMT technique and some hormone levels following
