164 Proceedings of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress Statistics and data analysis 1. The results of the third year undergraduate students’ independent project listening portfolio, students’ teaching listening skills, and students’ listening skills are analyzed by inferential statistics i.e. mean and standard deviation, and are presented by tables. Hypotheses are tested on basis of p-value from t-test. 2. The relationship between students’ independent project listening portfolio, teaching listening skills, and students’ listening skills is analyzed by Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. 3. The results of the third year undergraduate students’ satisfaction towards mentorship model are analyzed by mean and standard deviation. Data interpretation After calculate the mean about independent project listening portfolio , teaching listening skills and students’ assessment (Srisaard, 2000) Table 1 Data interpretation about listening portfolio, teaching listening skills and students’ satisfaction Mean Range Interpretation 4.50 – 5.00 Excellent listening portfolio/teaching listening skills/students’ satisfaction 3.50 – 4.49 Good listening portfolio/teaching listening skills/students’ satisfaction 2.50 – 3.49 Medium listening portfolio/teaching listening skills/students’ satisfaction 1.50 – 2.49 Less listening portfolio/teaching listening skills/students’ satisfaction 1.00 – 1.49 Least listening portfolio/teaching listening skills/students’ listening skills/ students’ satisfaction Table 2 Data interpretation about students’ listening skills Mean Range Interpretation 18.00 – 20.00 Excellent students’ listening skills 13.00 – 17.99 Good students’ listening skills 8.00 – 12.99 Medium students’ listening skills 3.00 – 7.99 Less students’ listening skills 0.00 – 2.99 Least students’ listening skills
