151 Proceedings of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress This program is focused mainly to improve, change and promote the Japanese university internationalization . 2.5 Problems to solve Prior to the actual implementation and operation of the program, problemsmust be solved and negotiated as shown below. l No function of liaison office lowers the evaluation and increases the question of the people involved of both universities l What can Thai university do if the number of partner universities wishing to open the liaison office is increased? l If the office is remained not in use, howcanwe do? Probably the acceptance order should be considered for decisionmaking with priority depending on the factors of university. Or some standard or rule should be prepared and shown l Reasonable fee setting is one of the solutions of decision making for Thai university in selection and screening l University has the limited maximum number of rooms for liaison office l One person should be found and hired as the person in charge of taking care of the program & information supply regularly (monthly) l Various kinds of job should be done by the person in charge based on the request and question from partner universities Participants are basically requested to pay the following amount of fee. Registration/Special Seminar fee 10,000 THB which can cover almost 10 lectures and some special program/event such as campus/laboratory tour. Suitable Accommodation may be introduced and prepared with reasonable price 10,000 THB/month without breakfast depending on case by case. 2.6 Person in charge The person to be in charge should be qualified based on the qualification shown below. 1) English & Japanese communication level 2) Well known at objective Thai university 3) Almost professional in International Exchange and its related program management 4) Person should know not only academic field, but also administrative matter of issue in management 2.7 Student participants Students going to Japan & coming to Thailand need more preliminary basic information about both countries of Japan and Thailand prior to visit. They don’t know anything even for the basic knowledge about passport, visa, necessary documents such as CV, Invitation letter, Letter of acceptance & Official certificate of eligibility etc. Similar program is undergoing for Thai students
