(10) Proceedings of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress The Honorary Song “The First Gem of Interdisciplinary Scholar” This song is composedwith the overwhelming loyalty of theMembers of the Interdisciplinary Committee of the Royal Society ofThailand and the Interdisciplinary Foundation for Research and Development to celebrate the auspicious occasion of the 5 th Cycle Birthday Anniversary of Her Royal Highness PrincessMaha Chakri Sirindhorn.This song illustrates the application of extensive genius and the role of The First Gem of Interdisciplinary Scholar by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in the interdisciplinary integration for the benefit of all mankind andHer kindness graciously granted to the Royal Society, academicians, and all people. This song was composed in a romantic classical style.The first two verses of this song reflect the appreciation of Her royal ranks, beauty, conducts and spirit of great kindness and concern towards her subjects. The latter verse reflects Her care towards all Thais and foreigners. The lyrics of this song were written by Professor Dr. med. Yongyudh Vajaradul and was translated into English by Professor Srisurang Poolsub. Music was composed and arranged by Rear Admiral Nat Ratchakul. Associate Professor PimolWongsiridej performed as vocalist singer, while the Chorus Club from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University performed the chorus. Music was played by the Band of the Royal Thai Navy, conducted by Commander Prakob Makarapong under the supervisory of Captain Narong Sangbut and recorded by Sub–Lieutenant ChusakThongsima. On the auspicious occasion which Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presides over the Opening Ceremony of the PrincessMaha Chakri Sirindhorn Congress (The Fifth Interdisciplinary Day Conference) on the Interdisciplinary Approach to Sustainable Research and Development on 3 June 2015 at IMPACT Forum, IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi, the Interdisciplinary Foundation for Research and Development will arrange a special musical show for the Honorary Song “The First Gem of Interdisciplinary Scholar” for the first time. All members of the Royal Thai Navy Band, the vocalist and chorus singers feel a great privilege and honor to perform in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. They will perform this song with overwhelming loyalty and at their highest level today.
