Abstract Approaches of Achieving School Internal Quality Assurance at the Basic Education Level Somwung Pitiyanuwat Associate Fellow of the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences, The Royal Institute, Thailand Internal quality assurance is the heart of school quality assurance, and as part of school management for developing students continuously. The internal quality assurance system consists of quality control, quality auditing and quality assessment. The internal quality assurance aims at improving the quality standard, and developing students upto their full potential. In this article, the meaning principles, system and process of school internal quality assurance were psesented. Good practices and literature review of school internal quality assurance were analyzed and synthesized.
