213 คุณหญิ งกุลทรั พย์ เกษแม่นกิ จ วารสารราชบัณฑิตยสถาน ปีที่ ๓๙ ฉบับที่ ๓ ก.ค.-ก.ย. ๒๕๕๗ Abstract Tribhumi Katha and ASEAN Khunying Kullasap Gesmankit Fellow of the Academy of Arts, The Royal Institute, Thailand “Tribhumi Katha and ASEAN” informs the readers on the project with pertinent concern on ASEAN literature which is the work of ASEAN Committee on Culture and Information who gave support to the translation, transcription and publishing on the Thai literary work entitled “Tribhumi Katha” for distribution to member states under the Project of ASEAN Anthology for appreciation of the people in ASEAN member states in their text content and literary value of the published materials. The Thai literature of Traibhumi Katha has been well praised by all as the top ranked of all Thai literatures in the Sukhothai Period. The Thai literature, “Tribhumi Katha” is based on the Buddhist Religious philosophy with the intention to reflect the understanding of the society, the way of life and culture as prevailed in that period reflecting partially the Dhamma on which every soul adheres including to be morally good, refraining from all evils and using it as a philosophy for leading the life towards genuine peace and happiness. The Thai Literature “Tribhumi Katha” was composed by King Dhamaraja I (Phraya Lithai) in 1345 AD. In the fifth reign of Phra Ruang Dynasty.
