Her Majesty Queen Sri Bajarindra (Somdet Phra Sri Bajarindra Boromma Rajini Nath) is the Siamese Rajanari (Royal Lady) in the transitional period from the Age of Modernization to the Age of Reform during the serious threats of Western Imperialism towards Siam. She could modernize Siamese Society in various ways through her capacity, genius and great effort in seeking knowledge and co-operation with her high perspective. She performed many good things to develop the country as a whole. She was the female leader who modernized Siamese female roles of both girls and women through the way of educational socialization along the western line, while still keeping Siamese valuable traditions. Moreover she played a great part in saving Siam from the foreign imperialism graciously through her female elite role of Siam. consequently, UNESCO promoted Her Majesty Queen Sri Bajarindra to be world figure in 2013 on the occasion of her 150 th birthday anniversary.
