In the paper the author writes on Thai teacher education reforms. It seems that the previous reforms do not work well. However, the author recommends that we should try to reform it again, because the environments have changed. The author proposes 7 strategies for the reform. They are : 1. Kuruthayat Project: to select smart people to study teacher education, 2. Choose only Ph.D. teachers: to strengthen teacher education institutions, 3. Not more than 30 students: a small classroom for teachers to practice their profession, 4. Open a student’s mouth and close a teacher’s: give up lecturing, 5. Set a high hope: standard criteria for the quality of teaching profession, 6. Tom Yam Kung-ization Model: research in accordance with the social context, 7. Pay no attention even to the minister: immensely devoted to students. Details and comments are also providedin the paper..
